Rajasthan Interim Budget Key Highlights 2024-25:

To promote tourism, the Maharana Pratap circuit will be built at Rs 100 crore.

  • A budget of Rs 315 crore has been allocated for the development of 20 temples.
  • 25 advanced life support ambulances will be made available from next year to save lives in accidents on the highway.
  • Ambabari Metro will be extended to Tonk Road, with a developed DPR for the extension.
  • Social Security Pension Scheme 1150 Pension increased by Rs 150 per month.
  • The Chiranjeevi Yojana has been renamed as the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, covering day care treatment for cancer patients.
  • The amount in the PM Samman Nidhi Scheme increased by Rs 2000, now Rs 8000 from Rs 6000.
  • Announcement of recruiting 70 thousand unemployed individuals in Rajasthan i.e. 70000 new jobs.
  • Allocation of 2000 crores for agricultural infrastructure development.
  • RPSC and RSSB will release an annual recruitment calendar.
  • Announcement to develop a hi-tech city near Jaipur.
  • Implementation of the Lado Incentive Scheme.
  • Provision of 100 CR for the Excellence Center in Jaipur.
  • Allocation of Rs 20 crore for Adarsh Anganwadi, providing a gas cylinder for 450.
  • Introduction of 500 electric buses for public transportation.
  • Installation of 5 lakh solar plants on rooftops in Rajasthan.
  • Expansion of ERCP benefits to 21 districts instead of 13.
  • Plantation of 30,000 hectares of trees to protect the Aravalli Hills.
  • Provision of Rs 1,000 crore for establishing and upgrading schools, colleges, hospitals, and administrative buildings in assembly constituencies.
  • Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan to create 5 lakh water harvesting structures in 20,000 villages over four years.
  • Sugar and jaggery prices will reduce by abolishing the mandi tax.
  • Abolition of land tax.
  • Increase in the discount for elderly people on roadway fares to 50% from 30%.
  • Approval of Rs 1500 crore for new roads in the state.
  • Introduction of Gopal Credit Card on the lines of Kisan Credit Card.
  • Provision of loans to 5 lakh cowherds in the first phase.
  • Employees will get two years of relaxation in DPC.
  • Increase in the honorarium of ASHA associates and others by 10%.
